Riga Album Cover

And so we come to the end of our album! No web page reproduction can do justice to the wonderful detail in these photographs. Still, we hope we've been able to give you more than just a sense of the album, and of the Riga it portrays.

Since it ends with the Sailors' Home, it could be this was meant as a keepsake for sailors to take or send home to their families. Certainly, Riga was a bustling port with ships and sailors from around the world!

We would certainly appreciate your comments and if you'd be interested in seeing more such glimpses of the past.
