The team Medical Officer and the hospital staff also carried out the following duties:

| e) | Controlling closed TB cases monthly. |
| f) | Immunizations kept up to date. |
| g) | Examinations of food handlers every month. |
| h) | Dental examination of school children every quarter. |
| i) | Distribution of vitamins to children under 15, to pregnant and lactating women, and to certain others. |
| j) | Weekly inspection by three doctors of all billets, showers, and swimming pool. |
| k) | DDT dusting and notations on DP 2 cards |
| l) | Boiling fresh milk. |
| m) | Disinfestation of barracks and placing chloride of lime in concrete garbage containers (one man, full-time). |
| n) | Issuance by team Medical Officer of certificates to DPs unable to work. |
| o) | Condemning spoiled food. |
| p) | Furnishing list of pregnant and lactating women for special food rations. |
| q) | Checking caloric content and balance of food rations, and distributing special care rations. |
